High frequency PCB board refers to the electromagnetic frequency of the higher special circuit boards for high frequency (frequency greater than 300MHZ or wavelength of less than 1 meter) and microwave (frequency greater than 3GHZ or wavelength of less than 0.1 meters) in the field of PCB, is in the microwave substrate copper-clad laminate boards on the use of ordinary rigid circuit boards manufactured using some of the processes or the use of special treatment methods and the production of circuit boards.

The level of DF of the general material directly determines the performance of the PCB:

DK (Dielectric constant of DK material, indicates the ability to store charge.) It should be small and stable enough, usually the smaller the better, high DK may cause delay in signal transmission.

DF (DF is the loss angle of the material, the signal transfer in the material is not entirely along the signal path forward, there will be a part of the material through the flow of the nearby conductor.) It should be very small, which mainly affects the quality of the signal transmission. A smaller DF reduces the signal loss accordingly.

The coefficient of thermal expansion should be as close as possible to that of the copper foil, as the difference can cause the foil to separate during hot and cold changes.

In humid environments, water absorption must be low; high water absorption will affect DK and DF.

Heat resistance, chemical resistance, impact resistance, and peel resistance must be good.

The coefficient of thermal expansion of HF PCBs needs to be the same as copper foil as much as possible, because HF PCBs may cause separation of copper foil under alternating hot and cold conditions, as much as possible, so as to guarantee that the performance of HF PCBs can be perfect. High frequency PCB is characterized by heat resistance, chemical resistance, impact resistance, good peeling resistance.
