PCB circuit board salesman should have the following basic knowledge:

A. The basic concept of PCB:Understand the definition of PCB and its application in the electronics industry, recognizing its importance in product design.

PCB, known as printed circuit board, is an important part of the electronics industry. It is a substrate used to connect electronic components together, usually made of insulating materials, such as plastic or cardboard, covered with a layer of conductive material, such as copper. Through processes such as etching, the conductive material is carved into a circuit pattern, which is used to realize the electrical connection between electronic components.

PCBs are widely used in the electronics industry and are involved in almost all electronic devices. Whether it is cell phones, computers, TVs and other consumer electronics, or medical equipment, industrial control equipment, military equipment and other high-end applications, are inseparable from the PCB, they are like electronic equipment, "skeleton", carrying electronic components, to achieve the function of the equipment.

In product design, the importance of PCB is self-evident. First of all, the PCB design directly determines the performance and stability of electronic equipment. Excellent PCB design can ensure stable and reliable electrical connections between electronic components, reduce signal interference and loss, and improve the overall performance of the equipment. Secondly, PCB design also affects the production cost and cycle time of the product. Reasonable PCB design can optimize the production process, reduce material costs and improve production efficiency. Finally, PCB design is also the key to product innovation. With the progress of science and technology, PCB design and manufacturing technology is also constantly developing, providing more possibilities for product innovation.

B. The structural components of PCB: Familiarize yourself with the main components of PCB circuit boards, including but not limited to pads, through holes, mounting holes, wires, components, connectors and fillers.

The following are the main constituent elements of the PCB circuit board:

Solder pads (Pad): Solder pads are pieces of metal on the PCB board used to weld the pins of electronic components. The design of the pad is critical to the reliability of the circuit, too large or too small pads may affect the welding effect.

Through-hole (Via): Through-hole is a conductive path on the PCB board, used to connect different layers of conductive elements. Through-holes can be divided into metal through-holes and non-metallic through-holes, of which metal through-holes are usually used to connect the pins between the layers.

Mounting Hole: Mounting holes are small holes in the PCB that are used to secure the board to the device. These holes are usually located on the edge of the board for easy mounting and fixing.

Wires (Trace): Wires are the conductive paths on a PCB that are used to connect various electronic components. The wires are usually made of copper and are formed on the substrate by etching.

Components (Component):  Components are electronic components on the PCB board, such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, integrated circuits and so on. These components are the key to realize the function of the circuit.

Connectors: Connectors are key components used to connect PCBs to other devices or circuit boards. Common types of connectors include sockets, plugs, ports and interfaces.

Filler: Filler is mainly used for the ground network of copper laying, can effectively reduce the impedance of the circuit, improve the stability of the circuit.

In addition to the above main constituent elements, PCB circuit boards may also include other auxiliary elements, such as electrical boundaries, silkscreen layer, soldermask layer and so on. Electrical boundaries are used to define the dimensions of the circuit board and to ensure that all components do not exceed the boundaries. The silkscreen layer is used to identify the component model, parameters and other information to facilitate production and maintenance. Soldermask layer is used to prevent the welding process to produce short-circuit and other issues.

C. The working principle of PCB: Understand the working mechanism of PCB circuit boards, that is, through the predetermined circuit design and wire connections to realize the electrical interconnection between electronic components.

PCB circuit board working mechanism is mainly based on circuit design and wire connections to achieve electrical interconnection between electronic components. This interconnection is achieved by soldering the pins of the electronic components to the pads on the PCB board and then connecting the individual pads through wires to form a complete circuit network.

In the design process of the PCB board, the layout of the circuit and the direction of the wires need to be planned in advance according to the functional needs and performance requirements of the circuit.This process needs to take into account a number of factors such as electrical performance, mechanical strength, thermal performance, maintainability and so on.After the design is completed, the circuit pattern is transferred to the substrate through the manufacturing process to form a conductive copper layer, and then the excess copper layer is removed to form the required wires and pads.In the actual working process, when the power supply is turned on, the current will flow along the wires and through each electronic component to realize a specific circuit function.Since the wires and pads on the PCB board are pre-designed, the stability and reliability of the current can be ensured, thus realizing the normal operation of electronic devices.In addition, PCB boards use a variety of technical means to improve the performance and reliability of the circuit.For example, by adopting a multi-layer structure, increasing the ground network, and using high-performance electronic components, the impedance of the circuit can be lowered, electromagnetic interference can be reduced, and the anti-interference ability of the circuit can be improved.At the same time, PCB circuit boards also use a variety of connectors and interfaces to facilitate connection and communication with other equipment or circuit boards.
