PCB, also known as printed circuit boards, printed circuit boards, is an important electronic component, known as the "mother of electronic components". A. PCB Processing Plate Classification

a, According to the different reinforcing materials, can be divided into: paper-based, fiberglass cloth-based, composite-based (CEM series), laminated multilayer board-based and special materials-based (ceramic, metal core-based) and other five categories.

b, According to the different resin adhesive used for classification:

 a) Common paper-based CCI are phenolic resins (XPc, XxxPC, FR-1, FR a 2, etc.), epoxy resins (FE a 3), polyester resins and other types.

 b) Common fiberglass cloth-based CCLs are epoxy resins (FR I-4, FR-5).

 c) Other speciality resins: bismaleimide modified triazine resin (BT), polyimide resin (PI), diphenylene ether resin (PPO), maleic anhydride imide - styrene resin (MS), polycyanate resin, polyolefin resin, etc..

c, Classified according to the flame retardant properties of CCL, can be divided into flame retardant (UL94 a VO, UL94 a V1 class) and non-flame retardant (UL94 a HB class) two types of boards.

Note:In recent years, with the emphasis on environmental issues, in the flame retardant CCL in a new type of bromine-free CCL varieties, known as "green-type flame retardant CCL.

d, From the performance classification of CCL, divided into general performance CCL, low dielectric constant CCL, high heat resistance CCL (plate L in 150 ℃ or more), low coefficient of thermal expansion of CCL (used for encapsulation substrate) and other types.


B. The Main Standards for PCB Processing Plate

a, National standards: GB / T4721-47221992 and GB4723-4725-1992, China Taiwan standards for CNS standards.

b, International standards: Japanese standard JIS, U.S. standards ASTM, NEMA, MIL, IPc, ANSI, UL, British standard Bs, German standard DIN, VDE, French standard NFC, UTE, Canadian standard CSA, Australian standard AS, international standard IEC.

C. PCB Processing Plate Parameters in Detail

Common Parameters are As Follows:

a, 94HB: Ordinary cardboard, not fireproof (the lowest grade material, mold punching, can not do power board);

b, 94V0: Flame retardant cardboard (mold punching);

c, 22F: Single-sided half-glass fiberboard (mold punching);

d, CEM-1: Single-sided fiberglass board (must be computer drilling, can not be mold punching)

e, CEM-3: Double-sided half-glass fiberboard (simple double-sided board can use this material)

f, FR-4: Double-sided glass fiber board.

g, Others:

 a) The grade division of flame retardant properties can be divided into four 94VO-V-1-V-2-94HB;

 b) Semi-cured sheet: 1080=0.0712mm, 2116=0.1143mm, 7628=0.1778mm;

 c) FR4 CEM-3 are indicated sheet, FR4 is glass fiber plate, cem3 is composite substrate;

 d) Halogen-free refers to the substrate does not contain halogens (fluorine bromine iodine and other elements), because bromine in the combustion will produce toxic gases, environmental requirements;

 e) Tg is the glass transition temperature, i.e. melting point;
